Standard Review

"Love Story"
Yelawolf

I can remember a time when the color barriers of hiphop was nonexistent because the mainstream was ultimately dominated by artists of African American descent.  This caused many people to believe that we were the only ones that not only had love for the craft but we were the only ones that could possess the talent.  I was a fan of the last Yelawolf album but still felt that it was lacking in so many areas.  It was like he was trying to be who hiphop dared him to be instead of who his heart and mind told him to be.  After listening to this new release I feel I'm getting the real Yelawolf embracing all influences.  The album shows growth and range with strong lyricism, country vibes and a tough rock & roll underlining.
